This software is provided as pre-release/beta software. It is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, either express or implied.

Licence Grant

Permission is hereby granted to use this software for evaluation and commercial purposes, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this agreement.

Disclaimer of Warranties

This software is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The entire risk as to the quality and performance of the software is with you.

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Lexvica Limited be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this software, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.

Output Artefacts

All artefacts produced by xllify — including compiled XLL binaries, Office.js add-in packages, standard-library code bundled into your add-ins, and AI-generated function code — are yours. They are released to you under the MIT Licence and may be freely used, modified, and distributed for any purpose, including commercial use. The MIT Licence requires that the copyright notice and licence text are retained in copies or substantial portions of the software. The full MIT Licence text is reproduced at the bottom of this page.

Malware, Abuse & Upstream Dependencies

Lexvica Limited makes best endeavours to ensure that xllify tooling cannot reasonably be used to produce malware or malicious software. If, despite this, you encounter or are affected by malicious software constructed using xllify, please report it to us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Lexvica Limited bears no liability for third-party misuse of xllify or any artefacts produced with it.

xllify depends on third-party open source libraries listed below. Lexvica Limited is not responsible for bugs, security vulnerabilities, or defects in those upstream dependencies. Users are encouraged to keep their tooling up to date and to monitor relevant security advisories.

No Support Obligation

Unless a separate commercial support agreement is in place, Lexvica Limited is under no obligation to provide support, updates, enhancements, or modifications to this software. The disclaimers and limitations of liability above apply to the free, no-cost offering of xllify. Separate terms may apply under a private commercial arrangement.
